Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This policy describes what information is handled when you read cryptocrystal.io, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation running Cryptocrystal, and when this page says we, it means that operator.

What our servers record

When a page of exchange reviews, guides or market coverage is requested, the servers that deliver it keep ordinary visit logs. An entry can include your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser and device type and the referring page. We use these logs to keep Cryptocrystal running, to investigate errors and abusive traffic, and to see in broad terms which articles readers find useful.

Cookies and similar technology

Cryptocrystal may use cookies and comparable storage. A few are essential so that a review or guide loads and behaves as it should. Others, where enabled, count visits, remember display preferences, support advertising, or record which link led a reader to an exchange or other service so that an affiliate referral can be attributed. When an exchange or ad network sets its own cookie after you click through, that cookie falls under the policy of that business and not this one.

Controlling tracking in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, browse privately or use extensions that limit tracking. If your browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we will honour it as an opt-out request wherever the tools we use allow. Some features may behave differently if you block certain cookies.

Emails and messages you send

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to answer you, to check and make corrections, and to keep a record of the exchange. Your message is never sold, and we would ask before quoting it anywhere. Please do not include wallet seed phrases, private keys, passwords or account numbers, because we have no need for them and cannot protect what we should never receive.

Newsletters and forms

If a newsletter or sign-up form is offered, the details you enter are used only for the purpose you chose, such as sending market summaries or new guides. Each message explains how to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you by email.

Outside services involved in running the site

A crypto publication relies on outside providers. These may include hosting and content delivery, analytics, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded content such as price charts or videos. They may receive technical details about your visit so their service can function. Price widgets and embedded charts, for example, may load from the provider’s servers and let that provider see your IP address.

How long data stays

Visit logs are held for a short, limited time before they are erased or boiled down to figures that identify nobody. Emails are kept while they remain useful for replying, correcting an article or meeting a legal duty, and are deleted once that need ends.

Asking about your information

Depending on your location, the law may let you request a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for errors to be fixed or the data erased, object to particular uses, or take back a consent you gave. To make a request, email [email protected] and say what you would like. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires.

Children

Cryptocrystal covers financial technology and is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent who finds that a minor has emailed us can ask for the message to be removed, and we will erase it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle, including secure connections and restricted access to the inbox. No system connected to the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Data crossing borders

Hosting, analytics and advertising providers may process data in other countries, where privacy rules can differ from those where you live. By using Cryptocrystal you accept that information about your visit may be handled this way.

Updates to this policy

This policy will be edited when the site’s tools, its partners or the applicable rules change. Check the date printed at the top of this page to see which version you are reading.

If you are unhappy

You may take back any consent you gave us at any point; what happened before stays lawful. See the cookie policy page for the cookies in use and how to manage them. Not satisfied with our answer? In the EU, EEA and UK you may complain to your data protection authority (the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK); in Australia, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
